This site hosts a number of example applications which can be accessed using the IMS Learning Tools Interoperability® (LTI®) specification. LTI provides a standard mechanism for launching a web application (referred to as a Tool Provider) and allowing context, user and role data to be securely passed. It has been widely adopted within education as a means of extending the functionality available within a VLE/LMS (referred to as Tool Consumers). The IMS maintains a list of certified LTI products available.

Include on this site are the following applications for which 14-day trial accounts are available:

Each of these applications can be accessed from your own LTI-enabled Tool Consumer, or by using the LTI Launcher for Windows desktop client. A testing suite is also hosted on this site.
